May 2012, Volume 2, Issue 5

Happy May, everyone!

My favorite article this month is one exploring the research on how to make ourselves smarter – and ward off dementia.  One way to do that is to learn something new.  Not just dancing, which was highlighted in the article, but anything new.  Don’t worry about the probability that you’ll never use it in the future.  Take a class to challenge your mind – and have some fun, too!  This article made me really grateful for my own dance practice.
